Its been a long time!

Wow! I can't believe that time can fly this fast because the last time I blogged was on 1st March 2008! Many have found this very strange and wondered what happened (thanks for your emails) but I can only say that is what life is like as we always say when we don't want to indulge in many stories. Anyway am back but not fully back, I will blog whenever I find time to do so not like I used to last year.

A lot has taken place since last elections and the peace deal however, we are still the same Kenyans we were last year even worse for some who went through the post election violence (sorry for pricking that wound that may be healing).

To me and many life is worse than what we thought it would be after getting a coalition government. Inflation is really biting like an annoying mosquito in the night and no net to hide into. Now we are being told by Judge Kriegler' report that it is hard to tell who won the elections after wasting a lot of time and resources.

Politicians are at their usual game, they have only worked for about 2 years and so we have 3 more years to the next election but they are now getting charged up for 2012 like its tomorrow, yet am wondering as an ordinary Kenyan, what have I gained so far since they were elected. Part of my problems as a person such as bad roads, communication and traffic jam are still the same even worse since I moved to my new home and have to use one of the worst roads in the City.

I will never stop complaining until I see a new breed of politicians who will change our country as soon as they enter office and only think of coming elections when its one year to the time.

A peace deal at last

Finally President Mwai Kibaki and Hon. Raila Odinga signed an agreement to bring peace in Kenya. This is a moment Kenyan's have been waiting for and did not know that it will come this way or this soon.

I take this moment to thank Dr. Koffi Annan, President Jakaya Kikwete, former President Benjamin Mkapa and others who were involved. It is my hope and that of many Kenyans that the deal will be honored and acted upon.

Even though this was not what some Kenyans wanted but at least this is better than war and violence we have been seeing in the past days. To my fellow Kenyans especially bloggers, lets not punch holes into this peace deal through irresponsible writing.

God bless Kenya, we now look forward to getting our Country back into normal and even better than it was.

Who is Frustrating the talks anyway?

I have been wondering what is happening with the on going Kenya peace talks.

Each time they want to conclude; that is when they are starting all over?

Surely are these real leaders we can get in Kenya?

I am fed up!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is actually frustrating the whole process? Are there other groups intervening secretly and frustrating this noble task? Do you see the hand of Lucy Kibaki or Ida Odinga in this ? Mr.J.Karume and Hon.Muchuki are they involved in the frustration?

Please let me have you guess.

kenyan Mediation at a stand still-Kalonzo factor

There is one kenyan politician that is causing the slow death to the on going Anan peace talk. Thank is VP- Kalonzo Msyoka. Let me explain.

Kalonzo is very key to PNU. His party gave the PNU numbers that they required and he was rewarded well for that. If you remove Kalonzo plus his ODM-K members, PNU is simply dead. The PNU negotiation group know well that if power is to be shared with ODM of Raila, their strength from ODM-K is gone and ODM through the captain Raila will take full advantage of that and frustrate them in Parliament.

What I am saying is that power sharing will kick out Kalonzo and his people. That indirectly will be a blow to PNU. Remember that currently Mutula Kilonzo is part of the PNU negotiating team. How can he on earth agree that power be shared without his party having a share?

The best way to get out of all these is first get the entire ODM-K off the way. PNU will be paralysed and they will give in to things that they currently dont think the can. That is easy to do. First sack Kalonzo Musyoka and replace Mutula Kilonzo with some one in PNU. Additionally all ODM-K holding ministerial position should be sacked. Then we will see if PNU is capable of forming a government and managing the parliament.
